Jon O’Sullivan is a Senior Principal and founding member of VMG Health. Since the inception of VMG, he has provided leadership in the company’s strategic objective of providing unparalleled financial and transaction advisory services in the healthcare market.

Mr. O’Sullivan provides financial valuation, joint venture development and transaction advisory services exclusively in the healthcare services market to clients throughout the United States, including for profit and nonprofit hospital systems, national ancillary service businesses, venture capital companies, financial institutions and physician organizations. Mr. O’Sullivan has performed extensive engagements in facilities including acute care and specialty hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, cath labs, radiation therapy, dialysis centers, and physician organizations. Mr. O’Sullivan has also acted as a financial advisor in turnaround and restructuring efforts for healthcare clients undergoing financial and operational realignment. In addition to working for a wide variety of clients across the United States, Mr. O’Sullivan has worked with clients internationally in markets such as Singapore, Thailand, and Hong Kong.

While at VMG, Mr. O’Sullivan was also a founder of Practice Performance Inc. (PPI), a third party business process outsourcing firm serving the medical practice market in Texas, Colorado and South Carolina. After growing the company over 120 employees providing services including accounts receivable management, accounting services, human resource services and information technology outsourcing, the company was successfully sold to MedSynergies in 2006.

Mr. O’Sullivan was also a founder of PracticeTech, Inc., a provider of networked technology solutions and support within the healthcare industry with a strategy of providing services to healthcare clients operating on Windows-based IT platforms. Through its staff of Microsoft certified engineers, the company’s services include network design and implementation, connectivity, network security, software selection and complete support services. The company was included in the sale to MedSynergies.

Mr. O’Sullivan is also a founder and owner of VMG Holdings, a holding company for passive strategic equity ownership and investments in the healthcare market where the company has had the ability to leverage its unique blend of financial and healthcare market knowledge.

Prior to founding VMG Health, Mr. O’Sullivan served was with the financial advisory services group of Ernst & Young. Mr. O’Sullivan holds an MBA degree in Finance and Accounting and is a certified public accountant (CPA).
